Bringing cutting-edge techniques and an exciting, contemporary vibe to every show, the band perform original works which weave between foot stomping reels to rich vocal harmonies, taking their audiences on a spellbinding journey.
The band have a busy 2019 planned, which started with the launch of their single ‘Maid of Culmore’ on February 14th followed by beginning their tour of folk clubs and festivals with the the launch of their first full-length album on March 14th at the Riverside Folk Club in Loughor. Inspired by the songs, stories and history of the British and Irish coastline, ‘Force of the Tide’ is a collection of songs and tunes arranged by the band which delves into our rich seafaring heritage, with music ranging from the beautiful Welsh language maritime lullaby Si Hei Lwli ‘Mabi to Maid in Bedlam, a sorrowful lament of a girl kept in chains at the infamous Bedlam Asylum after her true love was sent to sea. Alongside are three uptempo tunes including Welsh medley ‘Bedd y Morwr’ and ‘Hen Ferchetan’.

A number of their works have debuted on BBC radio. We welcome them back to Little Big Gig with open arms!
